Our roots

At Coulter Farms, we go way back – fields, woodlands, a creek, and 133 years of GROWing.

DAVE COULTER PLANTING BROCCOLI IN LATE JULY FOR HARVEST IN FALL 2022.

In the heart of Niagara County, the Coulter Family established our farm in 1889. Located on a ridge of distinctly sandy soil, we grow fruits and vegetables near Lake Ontario in a beautiful region also known for wineries, waterfalls, and colorful autumn leaves. We have provided fresh-picked produce to our community for three generations. We are known for our berry crops – strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries. We also grow heirloom sweet cherries on massive 60-year-old trees, and we harvest peaches later in the summer.
Our sweet corn, tomatoes, peas, zucchini, peppers, and melons are popular, and we grow cool weather crops like cabbage, broccoli, and cauliflower as well. At Coulter Farms, we believe locally grown produce offers the best freshness, taste, and value for our customers.  During the harvest season we frequently update our Facebook page, showing our current selection of produce. Check us out!
